Robert Eugene Markey

Robert Eugene Markey, 93, of Fairview Twp., Etters, died Monday, August 19, 2019, at Normandie Ridge Senior Living Community, York.

He retired as the former owner/operator of Bob's Indian Sales and Service, Etters; he was one of the last remaining founding member of the White Rose Motorcycle Club; a member of the A.M.A., District 6; the Springfield Indian Motorcycle Club; the Antique Motorcycle Club of America; a life member of the Indian Four Cylinder Club.

Born on November 30, 1925, in York, he was the son of the late Paul D. and Pearl A. (Folcomer) Markey. He was also preceded in death by a sister, L. Faye Markey Strausbaugh.

Surviving are his wife of 65 years, Kay F. (Witmer) Markey; two sons, Robin E. and his wife, Kimberly D. of Etters, and Terry L. of Etters; a granddaughter; several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Private services will be held at the convenience of family.
