Robert "Bob" Guarini

Robert Anthony Guarini, 64, of Camp Hill, passed away unexpectedly on New Years Day, January 1, 2024, after a brief stay at Penn State Health Milton S. Hershey Medical Center, Derry Township. He was the son of the late Col. Robert N. Guarini and Doris (Gindlesperger) Guarini, born on November 7, 1959 in Harrisburg.

Bob graduated from Cedar Cliff High School, Camp Hill, in the late 1980s, going on to work as a mechanic all his life. But work was only part of Bob’s story, as he took his role as a father and grandfather seriously; he was reliable and a constant source of support for those closest to him. He was sociable and enjoyed his friends as well, but no matter the company, an afternoon spent on his pontoon boat on the Susquehanna was ideal. Having three sisters and two daughters, Bob was routinely outnumbered in his childhood home and while raising a family of his own. When he actually got a chance to get his point across, he’d often start with, “here’s the thing… this is what you should do.” His wisdom, tolerance and humor will be greatly missed by all those who were lucky enough have had him in their lives. 

Surviving Bob are his daughters, Angela Guarini Treaster (husband, Dustin) and Kristina “Krissy” Golden Guarini, both of Etters; his grandchildren, Hayden, Emma and Kash; and siblings, Annette Guarini Mioff (husband, George) of Mechanicsburg, and Yvonne J. Engle (husband, Paul Jr.) of Harrisburg. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Suzanne E. Guarini-Burke.

A Celebration of Life will be held in Goldsboro at 1PM on Sunday, January 14, 2023 at The Memory Barn, 370 Yocumtown Road, Etters, PA 17319. A time to catch up with friends and family and to share refreshments will take place immediately following.
