Robert H. “Bobbi” Williams, 76, of New Cumberland, passed away on Friday, February 19, 2021, at Penn State Health Holy Spirit Medical Center, Camp Hill. Born on April 1, 1944 in Harrisburg, he was the son of the late Robert and Evelyn Williams.
Bobbi graduated from Pennsylvania State University (Class of 1965) and then served his country in the United States Air Force. He worked in the telecommunications field for most of his early career, and this occupation would take him across the globe. Moving from Iran, to Greenland, to Puerto Rico, he finally landed at Three Mile Island in Harrisburg, where he retired as an instrument and controls technician for Exelon Corporation. Bobbi cared for his koi fish in the backyard pond, grew Bonsai plants, and enjoyed reading in his spare time. He was always eager to learn, and became a self-taught expert on restoring engines.
He will be missed by his best friend, and wife of 42 years, Ana (Huertas) Williams; also surviving him are cousins and extended family in Philadelphia.
Services are private and at the convenience of the family. Bobbi’s final resting place will be in Rolling Green Cemetery, Camp Hill.
