Robert J. Bahajak

Robert J. Bahajak, 71, of Fairview Twp., New Cumberland, died Tuesday, August 15, 2017.

He retired as the Branch Chief for the Internal Revenue Service, Philadelphia; a 1964 graduate of William Penn High School, a 1978 graduate of Central State University of Oklahoma. Bob was a Catholic, an avid fisherman, tree painter, gourmet cook and animal lover. Born on October 14, 1945, in Harrisburg, he was the son of the late Frank J. and Ruth A. (Myers) Bahajak. He was the widower of Sukran Bahajak and was also preceded in death by three brothers, Terry, John and Pat.

Surviving are two daughters and their husbands, Francine M. and William J. Forsyth of New Cumberland, and April L. and David S. Kociolek of Columbia, MD; a sister, Ann Bahajak of Mechanicsburg; two grandchildren, Sophia A. and Ella S.

Funeral services will be held at 3 PM Sunday at Parthemore Funeral Home and Cremation Services, New Cumberland, with the Rev. Michael McFadden officiating. Burial will be at 11 AM on Monday in Rolling Green Memorial Park, Lower Allen Twp.

Visitation will be held one hour prior to the services in the funeral home.
