Robert J. Mcginley

Robert J. McGinley, 68, of Mechanicsburg died Sunday, January 24, 2016 at Holy Spirit Hospital.

An Air Force Veteran of the Vietnam War, he was a retired printer from the former United Engineers & Construction (Raytheon), Philadelphia. He also worked for Wawa, Sure Way Air Express, and Pep Boys. He was a member of the American Legion, had a wonderful sense of humor, enjoyed playing golf, and was an avid Philadelphia Eagles fan.

He was born July 2, 1947 in Bristol, PA to the late Hugh and Mary Frances (Reynolds) McGinley.
He is survived by his wife, Janet E. (Bateman) McGinley; two sons, Robert J., Jr (Nicole Perez). and Brian M. (Charlene) of Bristol, PA; a sister, Vera Schaeffler of Altamonte Springs, FL; four grandchildren, Arianna, Alyson, Brynn, and Liam; several nieces, nephews, brother and sister-in-laws.

Visitation will be from 1 until memorial services at 2pm Sunday at Parthemore Funeral Home, New Cumberland. Interment services with military honors will be held at 2pm Monday at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Hanover Twp.
