Robert L. Hershberger

Robert L Hershberger, 88, of York Haven, died peacefully on July 25, 2020, at home.

He was the former proprietor of B&H Lawnmower, York Haven, and a professional truck driver prior to that. Bob was an Air Force and Army Korean War Veteran. Born on February 24, 1932 in Johnstown PA, he was the son of the late Joseph A. and Mary E. (Coolbaugh) Hershberger. He was the widower of Joanne A. (Bennett) Hershberger. He was also preceded in death by three sons, Douglas E. Brown, Steven A. Brown and Jeffrey L. Bennett. Bob was the last surviving sibling of seven children.

Surviving are three daughters, Debra K. Pfaff (Kenneth) of Mechanicsburg, Mary E. Kinsey of York Haven and Susan M. Wells of York Haven; four grandchildren, Michelle, Jennifer, Justin and Jonathan; four great grandchildren, Andrew, Zachary, Savannah and Charlotte.

Private graveside services for the family will be officiated by Chaplain David Cantrell. A public Memorial Service to honor Robert (Bob) will be held on Saturday August 1st from 5-7pm, at the family’s home located at 715 Kise Mill Road, York Haven PA 17370. Refreshments will be provided.
