Robert (Bob) L. Redding, Jr., passed away at the age of 63 on Wednesday, July 9, 2014 at his home.
He was the retired Vice President of Irwin Associates in Harrisburg. He was a member of
Aldersgate United Methodist Church and its Praise Team, choir, served as a Soloist, facilitated
Disciples 1-4 for ten years, and taught bible study classes. Bob was an avid golfer and fisherman,
he enjoyed gardening, music, reading, watching his grandchildren play sports, a Penn State
football fan, and enjoyed time with Marsha at the cabin.
He was preceded in death by his sister, Kathleen Young.
He is survived by his parents, Robert L. Redding, Sr. and Edith H. (Gantt) Redding of New
Cumberland; his two daughters, Amanda L. Redding of Marysville, and Abigail L. Murphy,
husband, Bruce, of Wormleysburg; his fiancé, Marsha G. Fisher of Hampden Twp and her
children Kim and Tim Fisher; the mother of his children, Brenda L. Redding of Southaven, MS;
his sisters, Kris Blake of Harrisburg, Kim E. Tuschak, husband, Frank, of Dillsburg, and Kelly
Chianos, husband, James, of Mechanicsburg; and three grandchildren, Kya, Skye, and Zyan.
Visitation will be at 10am followed by memorial services at 11am Tuesday, July 15th, at Aldersgate United Methodist Church, Mechanicsburg.
In lieu of flowers the family request memorial contributions be made to the Belarus Ministry of
Aldersgate United Methodist Church, 1480 Jerusalem Road, Mechanicsburg, PA 17050.
