Robert “Bob” Lee Roedts, 61, of Manchester, PA died Saturday, April 28, 2018 at York Hospital.
He was born June 16, 1956 in Washington, D.C. to the late George Henry and Beulah Irene (Hoy) Roedts.
He was a graduate of Red Land High School. For the last 39 years, he was a Quality Systems Specialist for Frito Lay, Dallas, TX. He was an avid auto sports fan, spending many weekends watching the PA Posse race around local dirt tracks with his family. In recent years, scouting yard sales has become a top hobby of his. He was easily recognized by his blue vintage scooter, cruising from yard to yard. Ultimately, his two greatest passions in life were his love of riding his motorcycles and spending time with his family.
He is survived by his wife of 36 years, Kathleen L. Roedts; three children, Robert Lee Roedts II and his wife Megan of Silverton, OR, Ian D. Roedts and wife Samantha of York, PA and Kendra F. Adams and husband Billy of Manchester, PA; three sisters, Lana Newman of Newtown, PA, Linda Carlisle of York Haven, PA, and Deborah Brooke of Bloomington, IN; five grandchildren, Korbin, Avery, Cirilla, Mason, and Brody and several nieces and nephews.
Viewings will be from 5-7pm Wednesday, May 2nd and from 10am until funeral services at 11am Thursday, May 3rd at Parthemore Funeral Home, New Cumberland. Burial will follow in Rolling Green Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the charity of one’s choice.
