Robert C. Norris, 83, formerly of Fort Fairfield, ME, passed away on Monday, May 8, 2023 in the Gardens of Camp Hill.

He was a retired Baptist minister serving congregations in Pottersville, NY, Nantucket, MA and New Cumberland, PA from 1975 until his retirement in 2007.  In addition to pastoring, Bob was an accomplished carpenter, electrician and plumber who built several houses over the years.  Bob served his country by serving in the United States Army Reserves and enjoyed hunting, building models of all kinds, Western movies and TV shows, Sanford and Son and collecting antique guns (and loaded his own rounds).  But more than anything, he was a devoted husband who loved his wife, Jean, unconditionally for more than sixty-three years.

Bob was born in Fort Fairfield, ME, the son of the late Roland and Glenna (Martin) Norris.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother Richard and a sister Linda Summerson.

He is survived by his wife of more than sixty-three years, Jean (Kelley) Norris; children, Timothy Norris and wife Heather of New Cumberland, Debra Maynard of St. Augustine, FL, Tammy Cassar and husband Michael of Poughkeepsie, NY, Donna Hartley and husband Darrin of Mechanicsburg and Douglas Norris and wife Elizabeth of Harrisburg; siblings, Sandra Grass of Limestone, ME, Larry Norris of Rock Hill, SC, Greg Norris of Bensenville, IL and Jeffrey Norris of Mary Esther, FL; thirteen grandchildren; and nineteen great grandchildren.

There will be no services.
