Robert Paul Kanzleiter

Robert Paul Kanzleiter, 65, of Fairview Twp., New Cumberland, passed away on Monday, May 9, 2022 in his residence with his loving wife and family at his side.

He was a retired tax appeals hearing officer with the Commonwealth of PA Department of Revenue Board of Appeals and a U.S. Navy veteran.

Bob was a member of St. Theresa Catholic Church, New Cumberland; West Shore Sportsman Association; Tin Can Sailors Association; and the American Legion. He was a graduate of Bethel Park High School and Penn State University. He enjoyed ballroom dancing, target shooting, the outdoors and his akita dogs.

Bob was born in Pittsburgh, PA, the son of the late Ralph and Pauline (Darway) Kanzleiter.

He is survived by his wife of more than 32 years, Margaret Mary (Sunbury) Kanzleiter; siblings, Linda Jean Keister and husband Harold of Enola, Richard Samuel Kanzleiter and wife Suzanne of Aurora, OH, and Randall Jay Kanzleiter and wife Kathleen of Los Alamos, NM; two nephews, Ryan Kanzleiter and Ross Kanzleiter, and niece Taylor Kanzleiter and many grand-nieces and grand-nephews.

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 am on Tuesday, May 17, 2022 in St. Theresa Catholic Church, 1300 Bridge St. New Cumberland, PA with the Rev. Kyle Sahd as Celebrant. Visitation with the family will be held from 6 – 8 pm on Monday evening in Parthemore Funeral Home & Cremation Services, New Cumberland. Burial with military honors will be on Tuesday following Mass at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, East Hanover Twp., Lebanon County, PA.
