Robert E. Young

Robert E. Young, US Army veteran, born on July 5, 1947, passed away on February 20, 2025. A devoted father, grandfather, and friend. Robert’s greatest joy was his family. As a grandfather, he took immense pride in his role, cherishing the time spent with his beloved grandchildren: Amelia, Chance, Josie, and Colt. Robert’s heart and dedication were felt not only in his successful 30-year career running a business, but also in the deep love he shared with his family. His passion for Ohio State football was only matched by the unwavering devotion he had to his loved ones.

Robert’s death is preceded by his wife Nancy and sister Anne and is survived by his sons, Nathan and Peter Young, his daughter-in-law, Annie Young, his sisters, Margie Keller and family, Janie Payne and family, stepchildren, his adored grandchildren, and extended family and friends. His legacy will live on through the warmth of his family’s memories and the love he spread.

In honor of Robert’s life, a memorial will be held this upcoming summer to celebrate his memory and share stories of the positive impact he had on everyone he met. He will be deeply missed, but his legacy as a father, grandfather, and all-around loving presence will never be forgotten. Rest in peace, Robert.
