Romaine Nissley Sunday

Romaine Nissley Sunday, 97 of Cumberland Crossings, Carlisle was called home by the Lord on Wednesday, June 16, 2021.

A 1942 graduate of Elizabethtown College, she dedicated her life to educating children as a Teacher and Principle retiring from Middletown School District. She was a member of Bible Baptist Church of Shiremanstown.

She was born December 17, 1923 in Middletown to the late Elmer Erb and Myra (Metzger) Nissley. She was also preceded in death by her husband of fifty-five years, Harper Sunday, Jr.; brothers Wilbur and Glenn; and sister Erma Beaver.

She is survived by her daughter, Karen Marie Sunday of Carlisle and granddaughter, Connie H. Boger (Scott) of Indian Trail, NC.

Entombment services will be held at 11am Thursday, June 24th at Rolling Green Cemetery Chapel of Peace Mausoleum.
