Ronald C. Gruver, Sr.

July 21, 1940 — July 8, 2021

Ronald C. Gruver Sr., 80, of New Cumberland, peacefully transitioned into eternal life on July 08, 2021 in his home.

He was a 1958 graduate of William Penn High School, Harrisburg and served in the US Air Force. Ron returned to central Pennsylvania and began a career in the tool and die industry as a machinist, service technician and salesperson.

Ron is survived by his wife of almost 60 years, Marion M. (Reid) Gruver, son Ronald C Gruver Jr. and wife Margery of Hummelstown, daughter Heather Rodgers and husband Wayne of Etters, grandchildren Gordon, Mitchell, Madison, Dillon and Cassidy.

Visitation will be held Friday, July 16 at Christ Presbyterian Church, 421 Deerfield Rd., Camp Hill, PA 17011 at 10:00 AM. A memorial service will begin at 11:00 AM and will be live-streamed via Christ Presbyterian Church. Please contact the church at 717-737-0051 for streaming information. Burial will be in Rolling Green Cemetery, Lower Allen Twp.

A time of fellowship and refreshment will follow the burial at Christ Presbyterian Church social hall.
