Ronald E. Stambaugh, 81, of Lewisberry died Tuesday, December 4, 2018 at Geisinger Holy Spirit Hospital surrounded by his family with this famous quote in mind: “Some call it chaos, we call it family.”
An Army veteran, he was a retired truck driver, having worked for several companies with the Teamsters Union. He was the former owner of Numero Uno in Mt. Wolf and Kings Arms in Goldsboro. He was a member of West Shore Sportsmen’s Club.
He was born November 2, 1937 in Harrisburg to the late George K. Stambaugh and Viola E. Hughes. He was also preceded in death by his son-in-law, Francis Chapman.
He is survived by his wife, Florina M. (Marte) Stambaugh; son, Stephen L. Stambaugh (Kolene) of New Cumberland; two daughters, Rhonda J. Hocker (David) and Stephanie M. Chapman both of York Haven; five grandchildren, Chawne, Francesca, Veronica, Stephen, and Cole; and a great-granddaughter, Milena.
Visitation will be from 10am to 12pm Tuesday at Parthemore Funeral Home, New Cumberland. Private interment will be in Holy Saviour Cemetery, York.
