Ronald Eugene Fisher

Ronald Eugene Fisher, 61, of Harrisburg, died at home on Thursday, January 30, 2020.

He served in the U.S. Army, received an Associate’s Degree in HVAC at Harrisburg Area Community College, and was a Commercial Fisherman. He enjoyed fishing and being on the ocean. He especially enjoyed spending time with his children and grandchildren. He was a member of the Grace United Methodist Church, Harrisburg.

Born on September 30, 1958 in Harrisburg, he was the son of Gail O. (Enswiler) Young of Harrisburg and Donald R. Fisher Sr.

In addition to his parents, surviving are two sons, Jeremy S. and Ronald J. Fisher of Etters; three daughters, Deborah Weary (Nathan) of Carlisle, Ronda Ansel of Carlisle and Shanndah McDade of Mechanicsburg; three brothers, Donald R. Fisher of New Cumberland, Robert M. Fisher of Mechanicsburg, and Joseph M. Fisher of Dallastown; nine grandchildren; many nieces and nephews.

Memorial services will be held at 11 AM on Saturday Feb.8th at Uplift Community Church of God, 36 Jacobs Church Road, Halifax, PA 17032. Visitation with the family will follow the service at the church with a gathering to celebrate his life.
