Ronald Lee Book

Ronald Lee Book, 73, of Lewisberry, died Sunday, July 14, 2013 in Harrisburg Hospital.
He was a retired Administrative Assistant for the PA Department of Labor & Industry, Harrisburg and a Navy veteran. He was a model railroader and enjoyed camping and auctions, but his greatest joy in life was spending time with his grandchildren.
Ron was born in Harrisburg to the late Donald and Josephine (Bruscia) Book. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a son Patrick.
He is survived by his wife of more than 45 years, Sharon R. (Moss) Book; four children, Rodney L and wife Tammy of Mechanicsburg, Joshua D. of New Cumberland, Jennifer A. Fox and husband Robert of Etters and Heather J. Short and husband Jamie of Lewisberry; fifteen grandchildren, Alexander, Kevin, Kristin, Derek, Adrienne, Aimee, Holly, Carrie, Alyssa, Rachel, Jacob, Nathan, Ian, Courtney and Lillie; and a great granddaughter Aubrie.
Funeral services will be held at 2:30 pm on Thursday, July 18, 2013 in Parthemore Funeral Home & Cremation Services, New Cumberland. Viewing will be one hour prior to services Thursday in the funeral home. Burial with military honors will be in Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Hanover Twp., PA.
