Rose A. (Bruno) Sullivan, 89, of Allendale, Camp Hill, passed away on Tuesday, January 21, 2020 in her residence.
She was the retired Administrative Assistant with Charles F. Sullivan, CPA, Camp Hill, a graduate of Catholic High School (Bishop McDevitt), Harrisburg and a graduate of Mt. Aloysius College, Cresson, PA. Rose was a member of St. Theresa Catholic Church, New Cumberland and its choir; a girl scout leader and introduced the girls basketball program to the parish, both in the 1960’s; a musician who played saxophone, clarinet and piano in several local dance bands in her youth; and an avid tennis player. But most notably, Rose was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother who loved her family fiercely, and always will.
Rose was born in Steelton to the late Joseph and Adeline (Marsico) Bruno.
She was the widow of Charles F. Sullivan and is survived by her children, Marirose Hunsicker and husband Max of Mt. Gretna, Patricia Koch and husband Ed of Mohnton, Dr. Charles C. Sullivan and wife Joyce of Weekie Wachee, FL and Lisa Rohrer and husband Curt of Mechanicsburg; grandchildren, Michael, Eric and Daniel Koch, Curtis and Alanna Sullivan, and Conner, Samantha and Elena Rohrer; and seven great grandchildren.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 2 pm on Friday, January 31, 2020 in St. Theresa Catholic Church, 1300 Bridge St. New Cumberland, PA with the Rev. Samuel Dubois as Celebrant. Viewing will be from 12:30 – 1:30 pm Friday, January 31st in Parthemore Funeral Home & Cremation Services, New Cumberland. Inurnment will take place in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Upper Allen Twp.
In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully requests memorial contributions in Rose’s memory to her church at the address above.
