Rose V. Oberman

Rose V. Oberman, 93, formerly of New Cumberland, PA passed away on Sunday, August 6, 2023 in Penn State Health Holy Spirit Medical Center, East Pennsboro Twp., PA.

She was a retired Assigned Risk Underwriter with Nationwide Insurance, Harrisburg.  Rose was a member of St. Theresa Catholic Church, New Cumberland where she was an active member of the Little Flower Social Club and a volunteer with the Arimathean’s.

Rose was born in Smicksburg, Indiana County, PA, the daughter of the late Louis and Mary Fellin.  In addition to her parents, she was the widow of George Sharp, Jr. and Charles Oberman and was preceded in death by a son George Sharp, III, three sisters and two brothers.

She is survived by a stepson Carl Oberman of New Cumberland and several nieces and nephews.

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30 am on Monday, August 21, 2023 in St. Theresa Catholic Church, 1300 Bridge St. New Cumberland, PA 17070 with the Rev. Jonathan Sawicki as Celebrant.  Burial will be in St. John’s Cemetery, Shiremanstown, PA.
