Rosemary Catherine Kline

April 26, 1926 — June 14, 2020

Rosemary Catherine Kline, 94, of New Cumberland died Sunday at Messiah Lifeways, Mechanicsburg.

She was a member of St. Theresa Parish in New Cumberland; St. Theresa’s Little Flower Club, and the CCW. She was an active volunteer and ran the bingo kitchen at St. Theresa’s for over 30 years. She served as a Docent for the Governor’s Mansion for over 20 years and was a member of the New Cumberland Army Depot Officers Wives Club, serving as the president on more than one occasion. In addition, she was a member of the New Cumberland/Highland Garden Club, and the West Shore Welcome Wagon. She loved creating displays and centerpieces for each of these organizations.

Rosemary was an avid gardener who could be seen out working in her garden just about any hour of the day. She enjoyed spending time with her poodles and traveled extensively with her husband.

She was born April 26, 1926 in Cleveland, OH to the late George and Clare Walter. She was the widow of Ltc. Paul Joseph Kline and also preceded in death by her brothers, Richard Walter and Thomas Walter, sister, Marieclare “MiMi” and grandson, Benjamin “Zeke” Kline.

She is survived by two sons, Andrew J. (wife Jackie) of Camp Hill and Paul F. (wife W. Gail) of Amelia Court House, VA; grandsons, Joshua and Caleb; and her sister, Sister Mary Rochelle of Chardon, OH.

Visitation will be from 10:30 until 11:30 am Friday at Parthemore Funeral Home and Cremation Services, New Cumberland. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 12 pm Friday at St. Theresa Parish, New Cumberland followed by Committal Services at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Hanover Twp.
