Ruth A. Berry

Ruth A. Berry, 91, of New Cumberland, PA died 26 April 2022 at her home after an arduous battle with “old age”. Widow of J. Douglass Berry, she is survived by daughter Janet L. Kramer, wife of David and son J. Frederick Berry, husband of Lisa; four grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

She was a graduate of the Reading Hospital School of Nursing. For well over 50 years, she was heavily involved in the lay leadership, parish education and music programs at Grace Evangelical Lutheran Church, Camp Hill, before she and her husband were asked to leave the church under less than friendly conditions on the part of the Synod, the Pastor, and hypocritical church members. She hopes they find pleasure in her passing.
