Sandra J. Bannon

Sandra J. Bannon, 78, of New Cumberland died Wednesday, June 7, 2018 at her home.

A 1956 graduate of Cambridge High School, she was a retired Retail Manager from the Pennsylvania Liquor Control Board. She enjoyed cooking and going out to dinner and was happiest with family, especially her grandchildren.

She was born November 13, 1938 in Cambridge, OH to the late Richard and Elizabeth (Atchison) Berstler. She was the widow of Lawrence R. “Jerry” Bannon.

She is survived by a son, Robert S. Short (Ryckitta) of Mechanicsburg; daughter, Vicki D. Short of New Cumberland; brother, Richard T. Berstler of Mechanicsburg; sister, Karen G. Heckman of West Manchester; four grandchildren, Derek (Karley), Jennifer, Robert, and Logan; and two great-grandchildren, Connor and Everly.

Services will be held at the convenience of the family.
