Sandra K. "Sandy" Beinhower

Sandra K. “Sandy” Beinhower, 71, of Duncannon and formerly of New Cumberland, passed away in her residence on Friday, January 17, 2020.


She was a member of Fairview Brethren in Christ Church, New Cumberland. Sandy loved children and was a babysitter for more than twenty years. More than anything though, she loved her family, especially her children and grandchildren who brought her so much joy.

Sandy was born in Chambersburg, the daughter of Winifred (Jones) Cook of New Cumberland and the late Blaine Cook.

In addition to her mother, she is survived by her husband of more than 51 years, Daniel H. Beinhower; her children, Sharon K. Gochenauer of Dillsburg, Jeff L. Beinhower and wife Cheryl of Duncannon and Lisa A. Sauder and husband Lynford of Lewisberry; siblings, Elaine Beinhower of New Cumberland, Frank Cook of Shippensburg, Mike Cook of Harrisburg, Mart Cook of New Cumberland and Clifford Cook of York; five grandchildren, Ricki, Kyle, Adrian, Kalvin and Danielle; and a great granddaughter Lillian.

A memorial service will be held at 3 pm on Saturday, January 25, 2020 in Fairview Brethren in Christ Church, 600 Evergreen Rd. New Cumberland with Pastor Kenneth Keller officiating. Visitation with the family will be one hour prior to service time.
