Sandra L. Walker

Sandra L. Nye Avoletta Walker, 74, of Camp Hill died Thursday, April 9, 2015 at her residence.
She was a retired Office Manager from Consolidated Scrap Resources, Harrisburg. She was a graduate of John Harris High School and received her BA from Penn State University. She was an avid golfer and Penn State fan.
She was born April 29, 1940 in Harrisburg to the late Harry C. and Mary Elizabeth (Yowler) Nye, Jr. She was also preceded in death by her first husband John L. Avoletta, husband, John B. Walker, and daughter, Teri Avoletta Reeder.
She is survived by her daughter, Angela M. Avoletta Deitrick (Max) of Harrisburg; son-in-law Brad Reeder of Newport; sister, Mary Elizabeth Campbell (Butch) of Dauphin; brothers, Harry C. Nye, III (Sherry) of Hummelstown and Daniel Y. Nye (Lucille) of Greensburg; brother-in-law, Gary Walker of Mechanicsburg; four grandchildren, John Reeder (Gwen), Brad Reeder (Amber), Chris Reeder, and Taylor Deitrick; and four great-grandchildren.
Private services will be held at the convenience of the family. Interment will be in Resurrection Cemetery, West Hanover Twp.
