Sandra “Sandy” E. (Clemm) Ressler, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and sister, passed away on Friday, February 15, 2019 surrounded by loved ones. Sandy was born on July 1, 1943, the daughter of the late James and Anne (Ranta) Clemm. She graduated from Camp Hill High School and The Pennsylvania State University.
Sandy was a docent at the Pennsylvania Governor’s Residence for many years. She was also a member of the Highland Women’s Club, the Red Hat Society, and Allendale cuisine and card playing groups. Sandy was a member of Grace Lutheran Church, Camp Hill. She enjoyed knitting, traveling, reading and was an avid Penn State football fan. However, she was especially devoted to her loving children and grandchildren and proud of their achievements. Sandy was a heart and kidney transplant recipient and was known as a giver, with a kind, encouraging, and loving spirit for all those who knew her.
Surviving is her husband of 53 years, Glenn Ressler; her sister, Patricia C. O’Neill (and husband, Michael); her children, Kevin Ressler (and wife, Barbara), and Cami Ressler; and her grandchildren, Brianna and Owen Ressler.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, March 16, 2019, at Parthemore Funeral Home & Cremation Services, New Cumberland, with a visitation from 10-11 AM, and a memorial service starting at 11 AM. A private burial will be held at the convenience of the family.
