Sara Anne Kaufman

Sara Anne Kaufman, 78, of Lemoyne, previously of New Cumberland, died Monday, February 5, 2024 at home surrounded by her children.

A 1963 graduate of Cedar Cliff High School, she was a retired Executive Assistant to the President of SuperValu.  She was a former member of Baughman Memorial United Methodist Church and Christian Life Assembly.  

Sara Anne was born June 3, 1945 in Harrisburg to the late Gerald E. Kaufman and Mary Catherine (McGrath) Miller.  She was also preceded in death by her sister, Kathryn Grimes and stepfather, Herman Miller.

She is survived by her children, Beth Brewer (Kyf) of Southampton, Mike Bartlebaugh (Kelly) of Harrisburg, and Carolyn Garisto (Bruno, deceased) of Lemoyne.  She was especially proud of her grandchildren, Jared Bartlebaugh (Sarah), Jade Neely (Patrick), Nicholas Garisto (Lucey Maguire), Katie Garisto, Alyriana Ivey, and Ronan Ivey.  Her ultimate joy was her great-grandchildren, Luna, Lincoln, and Penelope.

Sara Anne had a very strong and radiating faith that touched so many lives.  She was confident that her health would be restored and her life would be complete in Heaven with her Savior and her family.

Visitation will be from 10am until memorial services at 11am Saturday, February 10th at Parthemore Funeral Home, New Cumberland.  Private interment will be at the convenience of the family.
