Saundra Lynn Houseknecht

Saundra Lynn “Sandy” Houseknecht, 55, of New Cumberland died Saturday, July 1, 2017 at her home.

She was a 1980 graduate of Red Land High School. She enjoyed spending time with family and friends, was a die-hard Philadelphia Eagles and Penn State fan, and loved drawing.

She was born April 18, 1962 in Harrisburg to the late William A. and Sarah E. (Dahl) Houseknecht. She was also preceded in death by a brother, Michael C. Houseknecht.

She is survived by two sons, Michael J. Houseknecht of Fairview Twp and Zachary S. Houseknecht of York Haven; a brother, Hilbert C. Houseknecht of Etters; and two nephews, Andre of Lewisberry and Calahan of Hershey.

Visitation will be at 5pm followed by a memorial service at 6pm Thursday at Parthemore Funeral Home, New Cumberland.

Memorial contributions are requested to the family to assist with final expenses.
