Scott Bard Custer

Scott Bard Custer, 30, of Etters, tragically passed away, Saturday, November 16, 2013 as a result of a motorcycle accident.

He was the son of Daniel and Barbara (Brown) Custer born in Harrisburg, PA. He was employed as a diesel mechanic with UPS and a 2001 graduate of Red Land High School. Scott was married to Tiffani (Snyder) Custer and was a great Daddy to Talyn and Tanner Custer.

Scott spent his free time playing games, such as kickball and board games; and watching his girls put on shows-making amazing memories with family. Scott and his family shared great times going on spontaneous adventures with his family and riding four wheelers - mud, lots and lots of mud! Scott will always be remembered as a family man, constantly surrounded by a houseful of laughing kids.

In addition to his parents and children, Scott is survived by his soul mate Emily Nyman and her children, Echo and Austin, two brothers, Michael and wife Maria Jose and Eric and wife Krista; as well as nieces and nephews.

A Celebration of Scott’s Life will be held at Rocky Ridge Park, York, on Friday 11/22 with the Rev. George A. Spangler officiating a memorial service at 1pm, followed by a gathering of friends and laughter until dusk.
Tiffani and Emily respectfully request that no flowers be sent. In lieu of flowers, please make memorial contributions in Scott’s memory to Rocky Ridge for the purchase of a park bench dedicated in his memory.
