Selma E. Rud

Selma E. (Olson) Rud, 95, passed away on Friday, November 24, 2017 in Messiah Lifeways, Upper Allen Twp., PA.

She was a retired bank teller for the former National Central Bank, Red Lion, PA; a former member of Winterstown United Methodist Church, Felton, PA; and a member of the Sons of Norway.

Selma was born in Gonvick, MN to the late Einar and Sigbjorg (Stavn) Olson and was the widow of Orrey J. Sechrist and Anton O. Rud.

She is survived by her children, Joel O. Sechrist and wife Gerry of Lemoyne and daughter Eileen S. Ott and husband Rick of Green Cove Springs, FL; four grandchildren, Andrew B. Sechrist, Kathryn L. Almroth and husband David, Carrie A. Ott and husband Steve Thomas and Jenny K. Carlson and husband Josh; and seven great grandchildren.

Graveside services of committal will be held at 10 am on Thursday, December 7, 2017 in Oak Grove Cemetery, Hangaard Twp., MN.

A memorial service will be held at 11 am on Saturday, December 9, 2017 in the Chapel of Messiah Lifeways, 100 Mt. Allen Dr. Mechanicsburg, PA 17055 with a visitation and reception to follow the service.
