Sharon L. “Sheri” Roseberry, beloved wife, mother, grandmother and role model, 71, of Swatara Twp., died Friday, April 11, 2014 surrounded by her loving family.
She was the retired Training Director for Apple Automotive Group, York and a graduate of the former Central State University, Oklahoma City, OK, she was an active member of Living Water Community Church, Harrisburg, where she started the Women’s Mentoring Program and was the catalyst for the Capital Campaign for the new church building, which was completed in 2008. Her passion was finding creative ways to bring people to know the Lord. She was an avid Bridge player and NASCAR fan.
Sheri was born in Oklahoma City, OK, to the late Charles Ogdon and Beverly Jo (Harford) Roseberry and was also preceded in death by her step father Marvin E. Roseberry and sisters Vickie Walton and Marian Layton.
She is survived by her husband of more than 42 years Ronald D. Roseberry children Kellie Sheryak (John) of Louisville, KY, Key Metcalf (Andy) of Raleigh, NC, Andrea Slaughter (Steve) of Birmingham, AL, Brad Roseberry (Auna) of New York, NY, Ken Roseberry (Dina) of Harrisburg and Aki Isoi (Yukiko) of Osaka, Japan; a brother Terry M Roseberry of Ft Wayne, IN; sisters Donna Jean Broughton of Raleigh, NC, Deanna Babb of Angel Fire, NM, Micah Roseberry of Taos, NM, and Marjo Kinsey of Grabill, IN; brother-in-law Jeff Roseberry (Bernice) of Evanston, IL; nineteen grandchildren; two great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 10 am on Saturday, April, 19, 2014 in Living Water Community Church with Pastor Mike Leonzo, her pastor officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to service time in the church. Burial will be in Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens Lower Paxton Twp.
