Shirley E. Hart

Shirley E. Hart, 84 of Oberlin, formerly of New Cumberland, died Monday, November 10, 2014 at Thornwald Home, Carlisle.
She retired from the former Pennsylvania Blue Shield and had worked as a nurse’s aide at local health facilities. She was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church, New Cumberland and Blue Shield Retirees Club.
She was born January 24, 1930 in New Cumberland to the late Harry and Carrie Elizabeth (Rudy) Shaffer.
She is survived by a son, Harry S. Hart, III of Camp Hill; daughter, Cindy Lee Hart of Oberlin; three grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
Viewing will be held at 10am followed by funeral services at 11am Thursday at Parthemore Funeral Home, New Cumberland. Burial will follow in Rolling Green Cemetery, Lower Allen Twp.
