Sofia E. Brumbach

Sofia E. Brumbach, 86, of New Cumberland, passed away on Monday, February 6, 2017 in Manor Care Carlisle, South Middleton Twp.

She was a member of St. Theresa Catholic Church, New Cumberland and VFW Post 7415 Auxillary, New Cumberland.

Sofia was born in Cocle, Pajonal, Panama to the late David and Lucrecia (Rivas) Guardia and was the widow of Kenneth M. Brumbach.

She is survived by her sons, Nelson A. of FL, Kenneth M. and wife Susan of Carlisle, Stuart R. and wife Judy of Dauphin and Mervyn D. of New Cumberland; three brothers, Julio Guardia, David Guardia, Jr. and Socimo Guardia; three sisters, Vilma Guardia, Eurelia Guardia and Emereida Guardia; and many grandchildren and great grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held at 1 pm on Friday, February 17, 2017 in Parthemore Funeral Home & Cremation Services, New Cumberland. There will be no viewing or visitation and committal services will be at the convenience of the family.
