Stacy Marie Hillis, 44, of Lemoyne, PA, passed away after a hard-fought battle against cancer on Saturday, March 22, 2025, with her husband and family by her side. She was the daughter of Robert and Sandy (Glosser) Roebuck, born on June 10, 1980, in Harrisburg.
Stacy, a 1999 graduate of Central Dauphin High School in Harrisburg, pursued her passion for helping others by becoming a certified massage therapist. She dedicated her career to Holcomb Chiropractic, serving at the Carlisle, Hershey, and Linglestown offices. Later, she transitioned to retail management and spent the past eight years as the manager of Jockey at the Tanger Outlets in Hershey.
Her career in massage therapy led her to Kevin, and the two were looking forward to celebrating their 11-year anniversary this April. Despite Kevin's humorous struggle with chopsticks on their first date, their bond blossomed into a beautiful partnership. Together, they built a loving family and created lasting memories with their two children. Family trips to Lake Tobias and Indian Echo Caverns brought joy, while summers spent with friends in the Outer Banks, NC, became cherished traditions. Stacy and Kevin also made annual trips to Kentucky to watch basketball in Lexington, despite Stacy's steadfast devotion to Penn State and her parents' unwavering support of Notre Dame.
Family was the cornerstone of Stacy's life. She fiercely loved and supported her children, always standing by their side. With a keen eye for detail, she took pride in maintaining her garden and flower beds. Though often modest about her talents, Stacy’s creativity shone through her artistic endeavors. Her skill in the kitchen was evident in her exceptional cooking and baking, delighting those she loved. Few things brought her more peace than enjoying a good book by the beach or poolside.
Stacy's vibrant sense of humor and expressive nature could light up any room. She balanced her boundless energy with an appreciation for quiet moments. Her loyal companion, Carter, an Australian Cattle and German Shepherd mix, remained by her side through it all.
Stacy's spirit, love, and laughter will be deeply missed by all who knew her. Her memory will continue to live on in the hearts of her family and friends, forever cherished and celebrated.
Stacy is survived by her husband and best friend, Kevin M. Hillis; her children, Mikayla Rae and Andrew Michael; her parents, Robert and Sandy Roebuck of West Hanover Township; a sister, MacKenzie C. Compton (Mark) of Manheim; mother-in-law, Carol Hillis of Etters; brother-in-law, Mark Hillis of Etters; sister-in-law, Karen Kirk (Donnie) of Etters; and two nieces and a nephew. She was preceded in death by her father-in-law, Aubrey Hillis (d. 2020).
A celebration of Stacy’s life will be held on Sunday, March 30, 2025, at Parthemore Funeral Home & Cremation Services, New Cumberland, with a visitation taking place from 2PM until services begin at 3PM.
