Stephen Craig Fulk, 68 of Harrisburg died Wednesday, March 16, 2016 at Penn State Hershey Medical Center.
He was a 1966 graduate of Millersburg High School and attended HACC. After 35 years of service, he retired from PennDOT in 2003 as the manager of the Department’s Bituminous Testing Laboratory. He then became the Executive Consultant for the PA Assn. of Asphalt Material Applicators (PAAMA). He was an avid golfer, having played with the PennDOT league; a Penn State enthusiast, and PIAA High School Football Referee.
He was born March 16, 1948 in Harrisburg to the late Granville “Bud” and Bette (Klouser) Fulk. He was also preceded in death by his sister Carol Ann Matter of Millersburg.
He is survived by his wife of 23 years, Irene B. (Zielinski) Fulk; 5 children, Brett D. Fulk (Janelle) of New Ringgold, Kendra Ferguson of Mechanicsburg, Kyle D. Fulk of Bethlehem, step-daughter, Megan M. Hamilton (Scott) of Aldie, VA, and step-son, Jared “Ben” Forney (Bridget) of Swatara Twp.; brother, Rev. Dennis Fulk (Beth) of Hanover; and 8 granddaughters, Natalie, Andrea, and Courtney Fulk; Ella Ferguson; Ryann and Riley Fulk; and KatieRose and Lydia Hamilton.
Visitation will be from 10 until a memorial service at 11:30am Monday at Parthemore Funeral Home, New Cumberland.
