Stephen Douglas Mixell

Stephen Douglas Mixell, 69 of Hanover died Saturday, March 22, 2025 at Community General Osteopathic Hospital.

He was a retired forklift operator from the former Mechanicsburg Navy Depot and New Cumberland Army Depot. An avid Notre Dame and Los Angeles Rams fan, he enjoyed collecting cameras, stamps, comic books, memorabilia, and celebrity photos.

He was born December 7, 1955 in Camp Hill to the late George Samuel and Mildred Elizabeth (Kann) Mixell.

He is survived by his nephews, Samuel D. Mixell (Lisa) of Camp Hill, Richard A. Mixell and Michael E. Mixell of New Cumberland; great-nephews, Mason G. Mixell (Melissa) of Harrisburg and Zackary G. Mixell of New Cumberland; and sister-in-law, Diane M. Mixell of New Cumberland.

Private services will be held at the convenience of the family.
