Steve J. Tobias, Jr.

Steve J. Tobias, Jr., 83, of Fairview Twp., New Cumberland, passed away Tuesday, November 12, 2013 in his home. He was born in Latrobe, PA.
He was a retired welder/fitter for Bethlehem Steel Corporation, Steelton Plant; an Army veteran of the Korean War; a member of St. Theresa Parish, New Cumberland; American Legion Post 143, New Cumberland; Past Commander of VFW Post 7415, New Cumberland; a former Red Land Little League Baseball Coach and volunteered at St. Theresa’s weekly Bingo.
Steve is survived by his children, Jeffrey L. of Mechanicsburg, Randolph S. of Etters, Beverly A. Tobias of Shiremanstown, Pamela T. Lazo of Scottsdale, AZ Suzanne E. Tobias of Harrisburg, and Steve J., III of Etters; sisters, Josephine Kemerer of Greensburg, Dolores McDonnell of FL and Patricia Tobias of Greensburg, and brother Regis A. of Greensburg; 13 grandchildren Brandon, Jeffrey, Rhiannon, Tanner, Taryn, Keil, Jory, Logan, Alex, Lauren, Skyler, Sammie and a great grandson Kolby. Steve was preceded in death by brothers Joseph and William.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 am on Tuesday, November 19, 2013 in St. Theresa Catholic Church, 1300 Bridge St. New Cumberland. Viewings will be from 6-8 pm on Monday and 10-10:30 am Tuesday in Parthemore Funeral Home & Cremation Services, New Cumberland. Burial with military honors will be at Ft. Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville.
