Steven Karl Dormuth

Steven Karl Dormuth Jr., 82, of Etters, died of natural causes at his home on Monday, February 3, 2020.

He retired as a communications worker for the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania and from the United States Navy having achieved the rank of Petty Officer, First Class. Steven was also a HAM Radio Operator, general tinkerer, protector of the environment and a conservationist.

Born on December 27, 1937, in Harrisburg, he was the son of the late Steven K. Sr. and Lenore M. (Ney) Dormuth. He was also preceded in death by a brother, Allen J. Dormuth.

Surviving are his wife of 55 years, Ellen C. (Woodruff) Dormuth; nephews, John V. Dormuth (Kristene) of Lewisberry and James S. Dormuth (Simone) of Las Vegas, NV; a niece, Linda S. Frickey (Paul) of Marietta, GA; many grandnieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held at 3 pm on Monday, February 10, at Parthemore Funeral Home and Cremation Services with the Rev. Jonathan Bowers officiating. There will be a one-hour visitation prior to the service.
