Steven W. Peifer

Steven W. Peifer, 55, of Fairview Twp. died Monday, October 5, 2015 at his home.
He was a retired heavy equipment operator from Ronka Constriction, York, and most recently employed by Galway Bay Corporation, Mechanicsburg. A 1979 graduate of Red Land High School , he was a hard working family man and enjoyed Harley Davidson motorcycles and old cars.
He was born August 25, 1960 in Harrisburg to the late William M. and Gwen (Price) Peifer.
He is survived by his wife, Jamie L. Blocher Peifer; ten children: Christopher W. Peifer of Etters, Leah M. Stoneroad (Wade) and Liesha L. Peifer both of Etters, Mindy A. Peifer of Mechanicsburg, Mandy M. Peifer of Dover, Kira R. Peifer of Hershey, Michael D. Smith (Jana) of Tremont, Steven J. Smith of Harrisburg, Kayla N. Chaney and Debra A. Chaney, both of New Cumberland; a brother, Michael P. Peifer of Etters; a sister, Susan Klauer of Hummelstown; eleven grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Graveside services will be held at 11am Friday at Cross Roads Cemetery, Fairview Twp.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are requested to Hospice of Central PA, 1320 Linglestown Road, Harrisburg, PA 17110
