Susie K. Gabel

Susie K. Gabel, 65, of Mechanicsburg died unexpectedly Friday, August 22, 2014 at her home.
She was a retired Elementary Guidance Counselor from West York School District. Currently she was a Real-estate Agent for Berkshire Hathaway in Camp Hill. She was a graduate of Red Lion High School, received her Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education and Masters in Elementary Counseling from Shippensburg University. She was a member of Grace Lutheran Church, Highland Park. Her smile, kindness, generosity, and compassion touched many lives.
She is survived by her parents, Howard and Elsa Knotts of Stuart, FL, husband Alan G. Gabel; brother, Louis Knotts (Mary) of Sanborn, NY; sister, Marie Nelson of Hobe Sound, FL; brother-in-law, Jeffrey Gabel of Gettysburg; sister-in-law, Kim Gabel of Big Pine Key, FL; and nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held from 9:30 am until the Memorial Service at 11am Saturday at Grace Lutheran Church with The Rev. D. Evan Houck officiating.
