Tara M. Hocker

Tara M. Hocker, 46, of Camp Hill died Saturday, October 19, 2024 at UPMC Harrisburg Hospital.

Tara was an avid reader with one of her favorite series being Harry Potter and enjoyed reading any place she could. Her love for her community did not fall short as a result as she was a former member of the Lady’s Auxiliary at American Legion, Post 974 along with her late father being a former Commander there.

 Tara loved being surrounded by her close family and her children’s friends. There was no quiet room when Tara entered. Her way of telling stories was unmatched, always filled with humor and a few drawings of explanation. Along with her love for her family and storytelling, she enjoyed spending time in the mountains and spending time with her in-laws at their cabin. Her exuberant personality and lively presence will be missed by the souls and hearts that love her most. 

 She was born March 20, 1978 in Melbourne, FL to the late Joseph Patrick and Barbara Perry (Kline) Brogan. 

 She is survived by her husband, Daniel M. Hocker; son, Dakota M. Hocker of Camp Hill; daughter, Alexus T. Hocker of Etters; brothers, Joseph Brogan, III of Orlando, FL and Ernest Christopher Brogan of Satellite Beach, FL; and several nieces and nephews.

 Private services will be held at the convenience of the family.
