Teresa R. Mahoney

Teresa R. Mahoney, 63, of New Cumberland, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, March 26th, at her home.
Born on May 4, 1950, in Centralia, she was the daughter of the late Jerome J. and Mary R. (Gerrity) Mahoney. She was a graduate of Our Lady of Lourdes High School, Coal Twp., Class of 1969. She retired in 2004 after 35 years as a Data Analyst with the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, Dept. of Treasury and was currently the organist and music director at Holy Infant Catholic Church, York Haven. She was a member of the National Pastoral Musicians and The Organ Guild.
She will be remembered for her love of her church, choir, music, family and humor.
Surviving are a brother, Jerome J. Mahoney, Jr. and his wife, Eileen of Danville; two sisters, Mary Julia Klimas and her husband Edward of Lavelle and Anne F. Anoia of Aristes; many nieces, nephews and cousins.
She was preceded in death by a brother-in-law, James A. Anoia.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 AM on Tuesday at Holy Infant Catholic Church, York Haven, with Rev. Edward C. Malesic as celebrant. Burial will be at noon on Wednesday in All Saints Cemetery, Elysburg.
Visitation will be held 6 – 8 PM Monday in Parthemore Funeral Home and Cremation Services, New Cumberland, with a scripture service at 7:30 PM.
