Terry Ray Fabian

Terry Ray Fabian, 73, of Harrisburg died Tuesday, October 2, 2018 at his home.

He retired as Deputy Secretary for Field Operations from the Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection in 2002. He was a graduate of Governor Mifflin High School in Shillington, PA in the class of 1963. He received his B.S. in Biology from Juniata College in 1967. He was a very active member of the Zembo Shrine in Harrisburg and served in many positions there, including being a Past Potentate, Circus Chairman and member of the Board of Governors for the Philadelphia Shriners Hospital. He was a Past Master of both Glenshaw Lodge No. 793 (1987) and Robert Burns Lodge No. 464 (2002), Free and Accepted Masons of Pennsylvania; Tall Cedars of Lebanon; Pilgrim Commandery, No. 11, Knights Templar; Harrisburg Council No. 7, Royal & Select Master Masons. He also prided himself in membership in many of the various shrine clubs which are too numerous to mention here.

He was born August 3, 1945 at Walter Reed General Hospital in Washington, D.C. He was preceded in death by his father, Harold Fabian and many others.

He is survived by his wife, Sandra J. (Grove) Fabian; mother, Madeline M. (Steltz, Fabian) Schuldt of (Elizabethtown); his sons, Shawn E. (Stephanie) of Mechanicsburg and Derek R. (Amber) of Shermans Dale; a daughter, Megan L. Mancino (Nicholas) of Mount Holly Springs; a brother, David H. (LaDonna) of Clancy, MT; and seven grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held at 11am Monday, October 8, 2018 at Zembo Shrine Center, 2801 N. 3rd St., Harrisburg, PA 17110. Guests are asked to use the Division Street Entrance.
