The Rev. Frank W. Bergstrom

The Rev. Dr. Frank W. Bergstrom, 87, of Mechanicsburg died Wednesday, August 2, 2017 at Lehigh Valley Hospital, Allentown.

He was currently an Assistant Pastor at Grace United Methodist Church, Lemoyne.

Churches served: Meriden CT, 1951-1956; Worcester, MA, 1956-1958; Penns Valley, PA, 1958-1963; Mt. Alto, PA 1963-1968; Dillsburg, Calvary, 1968-1983; Lemoyne, Calvary, 1983-1995; Retired 1995; Lemoyne, Grace, Assistant, 2000-2017.
Professor at Pennsylvania State University, Messiah College, PA State Police Academy, Hershey Medical School, 1965-2001; Retired 2001.

He was born January 13, 1930 in Worcester, MA to the late Peter Rudolph and Anna (Burrill) Bergstrom. He was the widower of Barbara A. (Schonberg).

He is survived by a son, Paul E. (Nancy) Bergstrom of Seminole, FL; daughter, Deborah A. Sheffer of Dillsburg; five grandchildren, Tamara L. Fitzgerald, Kailyn N. Bell, Michael P. Bergstrom, Nathan G. Sheffer, and Brody E. Sheffer; and nine great-grandchildren.

Visitations will be from 6 until a brief memorial service at 7pm Friday, August, 18 and 9 until memorial services at 11am Saturday at Grace United Methodist Church, Lemoyne. Celebration meal to follow.
