Thomas A. Anthony, 92, of Camp Hill, and formerly of Frackville and Kindred Place, Harrisburg, died Friday, June 29, 2018, at Homeland Center, Harrisburg.
He was the former co-owner of T&G Anthony Grocers, Frackville, and when the store closed, he continued working as a meat cutter in the Frackville area; a member of the former Knights of Columbus, Council 2580, Frackville and was a Fourth Degree Knight; formerly an active member of the Mahanoy City Barbershop Chorus and St. Joseph Catholic Church Choir, Frackville. Tom enjoyed boating, motorcycling, snowmobiling and jet skiing. Born on April 12, 1926, in Shenandoah, he was the son of the late George A. and Rose (Gastin) Anthony.
Surviving are his wife of 69 years, Mildred M. Wichalonis Anthony; a daughter and her husband, Jean M. Dyszel & husband Joseph of Camp Hill; a son and his wife, Robert L. Anthony & wife Rowena, Bedford, VA; three grandchildren, Anthony, Jessica and Michael; three great grandchildren, Kellan, Drew and Emily.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 AM on Monday at St. Joseph the Worker (St. Ann's building), 49 N. Line St., Frackville, PA 17931. Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery, Frackville.
Viewing will be held one hour prior to services in the church.
