Thomas G. Blaine

Thomas “Tom” G. Blaine, of Camp Hill, passed away on Sunday, April 29, 2018, at UPMC Pinnacle West Shore. Son of the late Vivian (Boles) and Clarence “Pete” Blaine, he was born on March 15, 1938, in Harrisburg.

Tom was self-employed for most of his life; he was a real estate entrepreneur and continued working until about a week ago. He was an Air Force Veteran, and a retired state constable, both on the East and West Shores. He was a former member of the board at the East Shore YMCA, and he was a member of the gym for most of his life. Tom was a member of the West Fairview American Legion, Post 984, Enola, and a supporter of various charitable causes in the area. Tom cared about the area’s youth; in addition to his involvement at the YMCA, he also sponsored dozens of children to attend Camp Manatawny, a Christian Camp in Douglassville.

Surviving is his wife, Jeanne R. Blaine; three children, Curtis L. Blaine (Debbra), Dawn Chapman (Mike), and Natalie Acri; grandchildren, Jessica, Barbara, Sarah, Katie, Eden, Brooke and Blaine; great-grandchildren, Aubree, Brayden, Sierra, Emma, Ava and Gabriel; and eight siblings, Nancy, Millie, Jimmey, Glenn, Deborah, Diane, Gayelynn, and Alex. Aside from his parents, Tom was preceded in death by a sister, Linda.

A visitation will be held from 6-8PM on Thursday, May 3, at Parthemore Funeral Home & Cremation Services, New Cumberland. A funeral service will be held at the funeral home on Friday, May 4, at 2PM. A second visitation will be held from 1PM until services on Friday. Burial will take place immediately after the service at Rolling Green Memorial Park, Camp Hill.
