Thomas Matthew Rados

Thomas Matthew Rados, 39, of Fairview Twp., New Cumberland, died Sunday, March 26, 2017, at Pinnacle Health Harrisburg Hospital.

He was a member of Holy Infant Catholic Church, Manchester and a 1996 graduate of Red Land High School. Thomas was a devoted father of two. Thomas enjoyed the time that he was able to spend outdoors with his friends. He was passionate about hiking, camping, hunting and fishing. His love of the outdoors in many ways made him an accomplished hunter and fisherman. As an example of this, Thomas received a Certificate from the SCI Trophy Records Committee for taking a Continental (Inland) Black Bear with a Bow and Arrow ranking 44 and receiving a Silver Medal.

Born on March 8, 1978, in Charlottesville, VA, he was the son of John J. and Sonja L. (Messick) Rados of New Cumberland.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by a son, Chase M. Rados and a daughter, Riley A. Rados, both of New Cumberland.

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 AM on Friday in Holy Infant Catholic Church, 535 Conewago Creek Road, Manchester, with the Rev. Mark E. Weiss as Celebrant. Burial will be in Tri-County Memorial Gardens, Newberry Twp.

Visitation will be held 6 – 8 PM Thursday at Parthemore Funeral Home and Cremation Services, New Cumberland.
