Thomas S. Kennerly, III, 54, of Camp Hill, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, January 29, 2016 in his residence.
He was a business consultant with Customer Focus, Costa Mesa, CA and a graduate of Penn State Harrisburg and Northern Illinois University, DeKalb, IL where he earned his MBA.
Tom was born in Philadelphia to Thomas and Edith (Epple) Kennerly, Jr. of Camp Hill. In addition to his parents, he was a beloved brother to David Kennerly of Elizabethville, Karine Lewis (nee Kennerly) of Etters and Mark Kennerly of New Cumberland; and the uncle of Drew, Payton, Jackson, Tyler and Zoe.
Tom being a movie buff, moved to California where he was an extra in three movies. He also had written and directed two movies which he made in Pennsylvania. The first movie he produced was called “The Two Roomer.” He was also a member of the Screen Actors Guild. There was nothing that he would not attempt to do or try. He loved to imitate various movie stars and comedians. Tom was a character. He held many jobs, philanthropist, bartender, salesman, teacher, airline steward, and actor. Tom wrote a book and had it published. It was called “How to make $1000,000 in sales your first year” Tom was an avid fan of the Baltimore and Indianapolis Colts. Tom loved old cars and his motorcycle. He was a member of West Shore Baptist Church. Tom loved music and was a fan of Bruce Springsteen before Bruce became famous. Tom will be sadly missed by both his family and his many friends.
A memorial service will be held at 11 am on Saturday, February 6, 2016 in West Shore Baptist Church, 2025 Market St. Camp Hill, PA 17011 with the Pastor Gary Bruland officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to service time in the church.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are respectfully requested to West Shore Baptist Church in honor of Tom.
