Timothy A. Kline, 53, of New Cumberland, passed away on Independence Day, July 4th, 2018, in Camp Hill. Son of the late Thomas J. and Anna May (Updegraff) Kline, he was born in New Cumberland on January 15, 1965.
Tim was a self-employed accountant for most of his life; he was very much an entrepreneur and was always independent and free-spirited. Tim was a member of St. Theresa Catholic Church, New Cumberland, volunteering for 12 years of his youth as an altar server. He was a graduate of Trinity High School (Class of ’83), Camp Hill, and went on to obtain a bachelor’s degree from Mount St. Mary’s University (Class of ’88), Emmitsburg, MD. Beyond his work and schooling, Tim was an unbelievably skilled racquetball player. Just months ago, he competed in the NMRA Tournament, in New Jersey, where he won first place for the 50+ age group. Throughout the years, Tim participated in numerous state tournaments and was recognized with a National Masters Award for racquetball. He spent much of his time at LA Fitness – Camp Hill, where he was racquetball director.
Aside from his wife, Jeanmarie, who treasures the 31 years they were able to spend together, many others will miss TK – especially his smile, his enthusiasm for life, and his spirit.
Surviving are his wife, Jeanmarie Kline, of New Cumberland; a sister, Roseann Nebinger, of New Cumberland; a sister-in-law, Judy Kline, of Hagerstown, MD; another sister-in-law, Donna Evernham, and husband Mike, of Carney’s Point, NJ; many nieces and nephews, and even more friends. Tim was predeceased by a brother, Patrick Kline.
A Mass of Christian Burial will take place at 12:30PM on Friday, July 13, 2018, at St. Theresa Catholic Church, New Cumberland. A visitation will take place from 10AM until noon at Parthemore Funeral Home, New Cumberland (the church and funeral home are across the street from one another). Burial will immediately follow mass in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Mechanicsburg.
