Timothy H. Rymer

December 28, 1963 — April 28, 2024

Etters, PA

Timothy H. Rymer, 60, of Etters, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, April 28, 2024. Born in Cleveland, OH, December 28th, 1963, he was the son of Juergen and Joyce (Watt) Rymer of Lancaster, PA.

Tim served his country in both the United States Coast Guard and Army, and he was an Operation Iraqi Freedom veteran. He was someone who gave 100% in all facets of life; to his brothers, and the entire MC Community, and in business, as owner/operator of Battlefield Leather, Calvary Graphics and Drop Dead Thread. He was a retired PA State Trooper, and he truly had a heart of gold (despite the nickname “Bad Cop” he acquired during his time in the military). Known locally as “Poett” or “Uncle Dad,” Tim focused on the positives in life and let the small stuff roll off his back. He was a big kid deep down, enjoying practically any animated movie or just a night spent with friends throwing darts. He was a huge movie buff and trivia wiz, constantly smiling and making those around him comfortable. Tim’s love for his family and his brothers in arms, and his passion for helping those in need, will be immeasurably missed.

In addition to his parents, Tim is survived by a brother, Richard E. Rymer of Enola, PA; sisters, Christina Hess of Lititz, PA, and Michelle Butler of IL; his partner, Jamie Peifer of Etters, PA; and several nieces and nephews.

A public Celebration of Life will be held at 4PM on Friday, May 17, 2024 at one of his favorite places, the James A. Danner VFW Post 537, Etters, PA. Friends and family are welcome to gather at Parthemore Funeral Home & Cremation Services, New Cumberland, PA, between 2:30-3PM that afternoon to take part in Tim’s last ride—a procession to VFW Post 537 led by those closest to him in the law enforcement and motorcycle riding community. A private committal service will be held at a future date in Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville, PA.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Tim's name to Warrior Brotherhood MC Pennsylvania, PO Box 624, New Kingston, PA 17072.
