Tina L. Ellison

Tina L. Ellison, 65, of Mechanicsburg died Saturday, April 23, 2016 at West Shore Hospital, Hampden Twp.
She retired as Assistant to the President of Caretti Inc. She also worked in the offices of Cumberland Valley High School and Centennial Middle School, Miami, FL. A military spouse, she was well traveled. She was a graduate of Camp Hill High School and Katherine Gibbs Secretarial School, New York City. She was a lifelong member of Girl Scouts and enjoyed reading and gardening.
She was born October 27, 1950 in Clearfield to the late Samuel Zane and Barbara Louise (Hertlein) Caretti.
She is survived by her husband, Jeffrey D. Ellison, LCDR, US Coast Guard, Ret.; a daughter, Lorraine A. Ellison of Mechanicsburg; two sons, Christopher A. (Lida) of Miami, FL and Michael V. (Kathy) of Enola; two sisters, Toinette L. Hess (Gregory) of Mechanicsburg and Terri L. Caretti (Mark Young) of Woodbridge, VA; four nieces and nephews, Megan, Josh, Sammy, and Casey; and five grandchildren, Katie, Christopher, Matthew, Lily, and John Paul.
Visitation will be from 5 until memorial services at 6:30pm Monday, May 2, 2016 at Parthemore Funeral Home, New Cumberland. Inurnment will be at the convenience of the family in Indiantown Gap National Cemetery.
