Virginia T. "Ginger" Walters

January 22, 1951 — March 3, 2018

Virginia T. “Ginger” Walters, 67 of Enola died Saturday, March 3, 2018 at her home surrounded by family.

A graduate of Penn State University, Middletown she was a retired Kindergarten Teacher from Sporting Hill Elementary School. She was an avid Boyds Bears collector and enjoyed puzzles, gardening, walking, playing cards, spending time with family, and trips to Cancun, Mexico.

She was born January 22, 1951 in Williamsport to the late James L. and Virginia M. (Johnson) Grimes.

She is survived by her husband Gary M. Walters, Sr.; a son, Gary M. Walters, Jr. (Dorothy) of McKinney, TX; daughter Renae E. Frei (Tony) of Enola; several nieces and nephews; and four grandchildren, Stephanie, Enola, Cody, and Tristan.

Visitation will be from 10am until memorial services at 11am Saturday, March 10, 2018 at Mt. Zion United Methodist Church, 4685 Mt. Zion Drive, Enola, PA 17025.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are requested to Sporting Hill Elementary School PTO, 210 South Sporting Hill Road, Mechanicsburg, PA 17050.
